Prayers That Heal
These events teach people to heal the sick in Jesus’ name. Although praying for the sick is scriptural (James 5:15), Jesus commanded His disciples to, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received! (Matthew 10:8)”
Scripture seems to indicate a difference between praying for the sick, and actually healing them, and so we reveal how to do that on these events.
“Why are these Prayers That Heal conferences done online instead of in person?”
This eliminates a lot of time and expenses for travel, and yes, you could literally heal someone while you’re at home in your pajamas. It’s not required to play “dress up” in order for someone to receive their healing.
“So how’s that possible to heal someone from far away?”
The Prayers That Heal events can be done online, because Jesus had often healed others from far away, like with the centurion (Matthew 8:13).
We offer times where people may join events to heal the sick in Jesus Name, so we can band together to display the Kingdom of God together as fellow brothers and sisters in-Christ.
Although Paul asked the question, “Do we all have the gift of healing?” and said the answer was, “No.” We can still ask for it, believe for it, and receive it. Jesus Himself said, “Everything is possible for one who believes (Mark 9:23).”
“Does everyone you pray for get healed?”
The short answer is, “No.” The fact that not everyone does get healed is very humbling. We’re all growing in our faith and have a great desire to see the sick healed, but many people are healed, and we want to provide opportunities for people to receive their healing that Jesus paid for on the cross.
So in our attempts to heal the sick, many people are healed, but not everyone.
Does that mean we’re false disciples of Jesus if we don’t see someone healed?
No. In fact, Jesus rebuked his own disciples when trying to cast out a demon(Matthew 17:17), due to their unbelief, which means they had room to grow in faith (and so do we).
What I often tell people is this, “A child falls down many times when it’s learning to walk, but eventually it will run!”
A father doesn’t give up on his child learning to walk when it falls the first time it tried to walk.
“That would be absurd!”
Sometimes the healing takes place when we don’t see it happen.
It’s true. There are several people that report that, “after I got into the car…” or “when I got home…” or “the next morning…” they received their healing.
Kinda strange right?
We still desire to see the instant miracles, but the receivers are still thankful they got healed.
We offer this time to grow in faith at our Prayers That Heal event.
What’s going to happen when you join the Prayers That Heal events?
There’s usually a short time of teaching in case we have newer believers that need helpful instruction, followed by a time of healing the sick in Jesus Mighty Name, then a time for testimonies. It’s not necessary to stick to a rigid structure..
These events are usually shorter time frames, lasting about 60-90 minutes.
We’ll reveal how to do this on the live events and demonstrate the Kingdom of God. This isn’t for our own personal glory, but to honor our Lord Jesus Christ.
Why we call it the “Prayers That Heal” event instead of the “Heal The Sick” event…
It’s because many people search for “Prayers That Heal” rather than “Heal The Sick” and likely how you ended up here.
